Saving our Past....

I wonder how long the wait shall be

Until the world wakes up to its beauty

For now our treasures we surrender

To make way for new wonders

When will this sacrifice stop?

For man to care for the splendour enduring,

Of our rich heritage frozen in time

When will we put a smile back on the faces?

Of those falling treasures from an era far gone

When will we stand together not lone?

So the future we may proceed to secure

The future of our past…
